The box will also connect to your internet connection. All you incoming phone calls continue to come through your current phone system. You dont pay for incoming phone calls, you retain your phone number and the quality will always be the same. Nothing changes. However all you outgoing phone calls will go through the internet. This means you get great call rates and save money on all the calls you make. Should the quality of service deteriorate or the internet connection fail, your phone calls will be diverted to your existing phone system, even if you are on a phone call.
